Project Management Certifications

Project Management Certifications

Project management certifications are programs that evaluate people’s knowledge and experience with the standards, tools, and methodologies. There tends to be a difference between the project management (PM) certificates and the PM certifications. The certifications that interest me include Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, and ScrumMaster Certification (CSM). However, an outstanding certification that captures my interest is the project management professional (PMP). This is because I have already met most of the requirements for the certification. In addition, this certification would help me showcase some of my outstanding project expertise and talents. Additionally, I aspire to work globally, and since this certificate is acceptable worldwide, it presents improved career opportunities, more income, and credibility. According to (Mahaney & Greer, 2004), the PMP qualification comprises holding a four-year degree and being a project leader for 36 months and 35 hours of PM training and education. Moreover, having a secondary degree, for instance, an associate’s degree or high school diploma, can also make a person qualify for the certification. Getting the certification would help me in my career.
