Hello,

Thank you for your post. Your report is effective since it incorporates most elements of writing an effective report. From the outset, your report has a cover that introduces the reader to the report’s contents (Baker, 2001). Also, there is a title page that offers a glimpse into the author’s details and topic area. Also, the report has a table of contents to enhance accessibility (Baker, 2001). However, I would advise that you leverage the MS Word software to improve the table of contents to include numbers and headings ranking. Further, there is an abstract in the report that largely introduces data collection methods to be utilized. I also noted an introduction in which you provided an overview of the paper’s contents. Additionally, there are well-structured body paragraphs. You also included a conclusion that summarizes the paper’s content. I also noted that you included a reference, though I would advise that you put the reference on a separate page. Based on the content of your report, your target audience is accounting students and practicing accountants. The report meets the audience’s needs. It demonstrates and reports key findings in research by backing them with references.

Hello,

Your report is very insightful. It includes most of the ten elements of effective report writing. However, the cover page is missing; I recommend you include it next time to attract a reader’s attention. You created a well-designed title page, offering a glimpse into your personal details and the topic. There is also a very well-structured table of contents that improves your report’s accessibility (Schneider et al., 2018). There is also a good abstract that shows how you will present your ideas. Additionally, your introduction is quite insightful, and this is partly because you spiced things up by including an image. The body of your report is well structured, uses uniform font, and paragraphs are well distinguished. Further, you included a conclusion that adequately summarizes the content. Finally, a reference page capturing sources used to draft the report was included.

One thing I noted from your report is the use of graphics, especially images that introduce an idea. You have also effectively included headings to ensure the report is easily readable (Schneider et al., 2018). Besides, you have used multiple sources, exceeding the requirement of at least six.
