Keplers third Law gives a Relation between a Planets Orbital period and Orbit Size

For this discussion, I chose Question 14, and my answer was orbital period and orbit size. I answered this question the way I did because Kepler’s third law is applied in determining the average distance between a planet and the stars. According to Lea (2021), the main argument in Kepler’s law is that the square of a planet’s orbital period is relative to the cube of the semi-major axis of its orbit. The law arises from the axis points of an ellipse, which include the major axis, which is the longest axis, the minor axis, which is the shortest axis, and the semi-major axis, which is half of the major axis. The P² = a³ formula in Kepler’s third law indicates that a planet’s orbit period is the same size as the size of its orbit’s semi-major axis when expressed in cosmological units. Therefore, Kepler’s third law compares different planets’ orbit radius and the orbital period, thus comparing the motion of different planets. Kepler’s third law also calculates different planets’ harmonies, making it easier to determine where a specific planet should be in the orbit. Get in touch with us at eminencepapers.com. Remarks About the Module

This module has been interesting because it includes learning about some of the astronomers who have contributed to the existing knowledge about the planets and stars. The module also entails interpreting the information in the course materials based on a student’s own understanding to answer the module questions, thus making it more interesting. It is also easier to retain the information in the module because most concepts are related. Therefore, to understand every new concept, the learner must refer to the previous related concept, hence enhancing knowledge and information retention. The module also includes interesting facts about the planet that spur interest in learning more about Earth and other planets.
