By using these internet-based software, the police will garner insights on how to allocate resources, prevent crime, and respond to ongoing criminal activity.
Moreover, data analytic tools such as Tableau assist organizations in generating strategic plans. Tableau, for instance, helps organizations generate interactive reports that may be used to formulate strategies (Stodder, 2013). Regarding crime prevention, Tableau helps law enforcers to identify crime hotspots and allocate more resources to avert crime.
