Frequently, they have pre-programmed answers to frequently asked questions. Conversely, virtual assistants are another name for data-driven chatbots. They are much superior to a task-oriented chatbot in terms of sophistication and interactivity. These chatbots use natural language processing and contextual awareness. Siri from Apple and Alexa from Amazon are two examples of data-driven chatbots (“What is a chatbot,” n.d.).
Siri, Apple’s chatbot, is the one I use most often. Siri is Apple’s voice-activated virtual assistant, available on various iOS gadgets. Siri can answer simple inquiries like the weather and more complicated inquiries about sports scores or calorie counts. Siri may also be used to turn off settings, search for information, create alarms and reminders, make phone calls sen, send texts, and much more.
Using Apple’s Siri while driving helps me keep my mind on the road. Siri may assist in simplifying your life by making phone calls and providing instructions (Clover, 2021).
