Musk demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit due to his ability to overcome life and work disappointments. He has faced various adversities in his career path, such as mechanical failures in Tesla branding and financial bankruptcy when managing Space X (Prasetyoaji, 2020). Remarkably, the innovator never gave up and continued to strive for progress and creativity.
In addition, having positive energy in the face of challenges is inspirational. Musk portrays the quality of a charismatic leader with a positive attitude and optimism for a better future. Workers, clients, and investors often feel energized when interacting with him (Scheuerlein, Chládková & Bauer, 2018). This quality is encouraging and has helped Musk to persist through difficult and challenging situations in his career and life.
Today’s world is highly dynamic, and Musk understands the need to be upfront with changes. He has a passion for novelty, deliberate direction, and personal integrity. He postures as the most innovative entrepreneur in the modern era (Swid, 2019). The entrepreneur believes that there exists creativity to solve every challenge that emerges. Musk views adversities as opportunities, and this focused understanding developed into success.
I would like to emulate Musk’s qualities because I believe the universe has untapped knowledge. It requires creativity, perseverance, and a never give up attitude to unlock innovativeness. The entrepreneur serves a noble course founded on his need to feature a better tomorrow. Developing entrepreneurial skills, passion for work, strategic direction, and integrity are key to my personal and career growth.
