Different Styles of Literature – Poetry

It is my firm belief that poetry is the best literature style. It has a keen significance because it bolsters our understanding as well as the appreciation of the world that surrounds us. In this case, the strength of poetry is that it has the unique capability to cast a sideways beacon ray on the globe, and thereby, the truth creeps up on you. There is no doubt about it. It provides us with the knowledge of how we should live. It pries open human beings’ vulnerabilities to the extent that we can all have a relationship with each other more efficaciously.

It is imperative to note that it has the ability to provide us with ways of empathizing with each other. Crucially, in its immediacy, it is a counselor that provides us with an understanding of each other, thereby leading to love, hate, and mercy from violence (Benton, 1990). It is a bridge and a path that leads us to become better persons and, therefore, be in a position to change the world. As such, my advice to someone who will undertake English II online is that they should be ready to feel the thrill of exploring the world through poetry and literature.
