Cultural Competencies and Embracing Diversity in Client Interactions
Embracing Diversity in Client Interactions
Imposing ideas on clients on how to conduct business makes it hectic to relate and difficult among clients that have different worldviews. The perspective of working with clients from other regions that are perceived to be genuine has made it challenging to work with clients that have other worldview preferences. Insistence in working with clients with particular religious beliefs makes it difficult to deal with clients that have a worldview perspective.
Individuals that are different are related to negative bias and assumptions. There is a negative stereotype that emerges from individuals who are different from me on a personal level. The individual might be considered to be dishonest or either too difficult to deal with as an assumption.
Cultural competencies
Cultural competence is a positive step and should be related to continuous throughout a career rather than a goal that can be achieved within a short period frame. People who will be engaged with the organization are diverse and should be encouraged to be culturally competent to improve relationships. Experiences should be learned over time that will prove to be worthwhile in creating enhanced relationships. The management will appreciate different backgrounds to influence improved relations as well as opinions to improve productivity as well as organizational competitiveness. People are other, and the ability to learn and engage is important to ensure growth is enhanced continuously through improved relations with people (Greene-Moton & Minkler, 2020).
