Original problem or focus question ·         The attrition rate that is within the organization can increase because of the morale of the employees. There is high employee turnover within the organization.
Stakeholders who are most affected by the problem ·         The employees and the management are the ones who are mainly affected by the problem (Rizea, 2015). If there is a solution to the problem, both the employees, management, and the shareholders will gain.
Type of problem ·         The problem is based on resources and skills. There is underutilization of the skills that the employees have and a lack of enough funds for their compensation.
Suspected cause(s) of the problem ·         The main cause of the problem is inclusivity. Most of the employees are not included in the decision-making process of the organization. If resolved, it will be possible to establish a bottom-top leadership approach. For instance, if the opinions of the employees are included in the decision-making process, they will feel a part of the organization and are less likely to leave.
Goal for improvement and long-term impact ·         The target impact is to reduce the number of employees that are leaving the organization in a single month.
Impact to stakeholders ·         If the problem is not addressed, then the stakeholders will have a lower per-earnings ratio (Hoque, 2015). There will be less revenue, and shareholders will have no returns from their investments.
Proposal for addressing the problem and determining impact from a Christian worldview perspective ·         A key proposal is to change the leadership structure in the organization to a bottom-top approach. Also, there is a need to implement and compensation plan that will cater to the needs of the employees.

·         From a worldwide Christian perspective, the proposal will ensure there is inclusivity and less discrimination among the employees (Hoque, 2015).

Final problem statement ·         There is a high employee turnover in the organization. It implies that the employees are leaving the company when they get the opportunity. A key strategic solution is to have a compensation plan for the employees. Despite the presence of a leadership structure, it is not effective in making sure there is a flow of operations. The focus is on what can reduce the high employee turnover, such as inclusion in the decision-making process.

Crafting a Problem Statement Worksheet- Defining Organizational Issues in My Workplace

Now that you have identified a potential problem, brainstormed the root causes, and determined how you might be able to influence change, you will construct a problem statement that can be used as the basis for an action research project. The problem statement must clearly articulate the single goal of the action research project and consider the influence of the organizational change that will occur.

Part of completing an action research project and enacting organizational change includes understanding how the problem is tied to the mission, vision, and values of all the involved stakeholders and how these will drive decision-making. The change that is enacted should be done to enable positive progress for your fellow coworkers and the organization at large.
